2FA Setup

Information about 2-factor authentication (2FA) setup

Updated this week

What is 2FA?

2-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account in addition to your password. When enabled, you’ll need to provide a 2FA code to perform certain actions.

How does 2FA work?

OG uses a time-based one-time password (TOTP) for 2FA. This is a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds. To complete certain actions, you must enter your TOTP code along with your regular password.

What actions require 2FA?

Once enabled, 2FA is required to complete the following action:

  • USD withdrawal

How do I set up 2FA?

Please refer to the step-by-step guide.

Which authenticator should I use?

We support various authenticator apps for 2FA. For strong security and a great user experience, we recommend Authy (Android) / Twilio Authy (iOS). You may also use other apps like Google Authenticator. Please note that you can switch between authenticator apps at any time.
