Sport

Question

Answer / Rule

American Football

Does overtime count?

Yes — overtime is included in all markets.

Baseball

Game shortened but official?

Settled normally using official MLB results. No cancellation.

Game postponed (has not started)?

Rescheduled to the same day — all contracts will proceed with normal settlement.

Rescheduled to a new calendar day — the market will be settled as Event Cancelled.

Game suspended (has started, then paused)?

Resumed within 48 hours — all contracts will proceed with normal settlement.

Resumed beyond 48 hours — the markets associated with the game will be settled as Event Cancelled.

Do extra innings count?

Yes — extra innings are included in all markets.

Basketball

Does overtime count?

Yes — overtime is included in all markets.

Ice Hockey

Do overtime & shootouts count?

Yes. The winning shootout team gets +1 goal for totals and props.

Soccer

Extra time & penalties?

No — unless stated, settled on 90 min + stoppage time only.

“Draw” not listed?

Market becomes “To Advance” — the team that progresses wins.

Match shortened?

If the governing body declares an official result for a match that is suspended or truncated, that official result governs settlement, even if 90 minutes of regulation play were not completed.

Tennis

Player retires / disqualified / withdraws?

Advancing player wins → “Yes” in-the-money. Retiring player loses → “No” in-the-money (even if the match has not started).

What happens if a player or team withdraws or is disqualified before the match takes place, and is replaced by another team player/team?

If a listed player or team is replaced by a different entrant, the matchup is treated as an Event Canceled, when there is no advancing player as a result of the replacement. All unsettled contracts for that matchup will be settled as such.

Venue, surface, schedule changes?

No impact — contracts stand (as long as the match eventually completes).

Number of sets reduced (e.g., best-of-5 → best-of-3)?

Contracts stand and settle normally.

Golf

Player withdraws?

All contracts for that player are treated as Event Canceled.

If the golfer withdraws after teeing off for the first round, all trades stand, and contracts on the player settle out-of-the-money.

Tournament not completed?

Settled only if the governing body declares an official winner. Otherwise → Canceled Event.

Playoff?

Playoff result determines the winner.

F1

Race abandoned / no podium?

Determined contracts settle; others → Canceled Event.

If a race is red-flagged and not restarted, settlement is based on the official classification published by the governing body at the time of stoppage, provided the governing body issues an official result. If no official result is issued, the matchup is treated as Event Cancelled.

Venue change?

If a race is moved to a different circuit, all Contracts referencing that race are treated as Event Cancelled, regardless of how far in advance the change is announced.

Post-race penalties?

Contracts settled on the podium classification only — later changes do not affect settlement.

Driver DNS (did not start)?

All trades stand; contracts settle out-of-the-money.

Ties in championship?

Broken by FIA tie-breakers (most wins → 2nds → 3rds, etc.).

Tie for pole position?

Driver who sets the time first gets pole.

Motorsport

How are results determined?

Motorsport Contracts are settled based on the official classification published by the governing body of the relevant series.

Shortened race?

A race constitutes an official result when the governing body's published minimum lap or distance threshold has been completed by the leader. Where the governing body does not declare an official result, the matchup is treated as Event Cancelled.

Driver DNS (did not start)?

All trades stand; contracts settle out-of-the-money.

MMA/Boxing

“No Contest” declared?

Canceled Event unless the outcome was already determined before stoppage.

Fighter replaced?

Canceled Event (all unsettled contracts).

Appeals or disqualifications after the fight?

Contracts settled on the official result at the end of the fight — later reversals do not affect settlement.

If an in-event announcement is later corrected before settlement by the sanctioning body, the corrected official decision governs settlement.

Reversals issued after settlement do not affect the contract.

Fight stopped between rounds?

Settled on the last completed round.

Round structure changes?

All trades stand and settle normally.

Weight miss?

If a competitor misses the official weigh-in but the bout proceeds as scheduled, all contracts remain active and settle on the actual result. Contracts are only treated as Event Cancelled if the bout itself does not take place.

Cricket

What constitutes a "win" for settlement purposes?

For the purposes of this market, an official "win" includes:

  • A victory by any margin (runs, wickets, or otherwise) as declared official by the governing body.

  • A victory awarded via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method or any other ICC-approved method where an official result is produced.

  • A victory in a Super Over or any other tiebreaker required to produce an official result.

  • A victory awarded due to the forfeit, disqualification, or concession of the opposing team after the commencement of play, provided the governing body officially declares the team the winner.

What outcomes do NOT count as a "win"?

The following do not constitute a "win" for settlement purposes:

  • A draw, tie, or no-result declaration by the governing body, unless additional play (e.g., a Super Over) subsequently produces an official winner.

  • A match awarded solely on the basis of net run rate, points table standing, or any tournament-level tiebreaker not constituting an official match result.

How are weather interruptions and the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) Method handled?

If rain or other interruptions shorten the match and the DLS method (or any other ICC-approved method) is applied to produce an official result, that result constitutes an official winner for settlement purposes. A DLS result is treated identically to a full-match result.

Note: For the DLS method to be applied and an official result to be declared, a minimum of 5 overs must have been bowled to the team batting second.

Is there a Minimum Overs Threshold?

Yes. Consistent with governing league playing conditions, a minimum of 5 overs must be bowled to the team batting second for an official result to be possible under reduced-overs conditions.

  • If the threshold is met: If the governing body declares an official result (e.g., via DLS), the market resolves based on that official result regardless of the total overs completed.

  • If the threshold is not met: If fewer than 5 overs are bowled to the team batting second and the match is abandoned without an official result, all markets will be settled as event cancelled.

A match constitutes a valid result when the format's minimum overs, as defined by the governing body, have been completed and an official result is declared. Minimums are: T20 — 5 overs per side; ODI — 20 overs per side; Test — governed by the relevant playing conditions. If the minimum is not reached and no DLS or governing-body-approved result is produced, the matchup is treated as Event Cancelled.

What happens if the match goes to a Super Over?

If the match ends in a tie on the scorecard and a Super Over (or any additional tiebreaker) is played, the winner of the Super Over determines the market resolution. The Super Over result is treated as part of the official match result.

What happens if a match is cancelled, abandoned, or delayed?

  • Cancelled before start: All markets will be settled as event cancelled.

  • Abandoned after start: If no official result is declared by the governing body (including via the DLS method), all markets will be settled as event cancelled.

  • Shortened match: If shortened due to weather or other factors and an official result is declared via an ICC-approved method (provided the minimum overs threshold is met), the market will resolve based on that official result.

  • Delayed matches: If delayed for 48 hours or less from its original scheduled start time, all markets will remain open. If delayed for more than 48 hours, all markets will be settled as event cancelled.

What happens in the event of a tie without a Super Over?

If the match ends in a tie and no Super Over or further tiebreaker is played, all markets will resolve to $0.50, reflecting a 50/50 settlement.

How are forfeits and disqualifications handled?

  • Before the match begins: If a team forfeits or is disqualified, all markets will be settled as event cancelled.

  • After the match has begun: If the governing body declares an official winner, the market will resolve based on that result.

  • Insufficient play: If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result (fewer than 5 overs bowled to the team batting second and no DLS result declared), all markets will be settled as event cancelled.

Esports

How are the results decided?

Esports Contracts are settled based on the official result declared by the tournament organizer.

What happens if there are changes in format or technical issues?

If a match is remade due to a technical issue, results from the abandoned attempt do not count and the contract settles on the replayed match, provided that the replayed match is completed within 48 hours of the original scheduled start.

If a series format is changed materially after the contract is listed (for example, from Best-of-3 to Best-of-5), the matchup is treated as Event Cancelled.

How are disqualifications and forfeits handled?

Disqualifications and forfeits announced by the tournament organizer determine the official result for settlement purposes.

Changes in Venue

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all contracts will remain open if an event's venue changes.

Season-Long/Tournament Contracts

Unless otherwise noted, season-long and tournament contracts are settled based on the official results and classifications published by the governing body at the conclusion of the season or tournament.

If the season or tournament is shortened, truncated, or ends early but the governing body declares an official championship, settlement is based on that official result.

If no official championship is awarded or results declared, the matchup is treated as Event Cancelled.

For season-long or tournament-long award and stat leader markets (e.g., MVP Winner, Rookie of the Year, Golden Boot, scoring leader): if the named participant does not take part in any qualifying games or events during the season or tournament due to injury, suspension, retirement, ineligibility, or any other reason, contracts on that participant do not settle as Event Cancelled and settle based on the official result of the governing body of the event. Contracts on other eligible participants are unaffected and settle based on the official results published by the governing body.

Player Markets

Each player market contract represents an outcome tied to a specific player performance metric in a designated game (e.g., “Player X to record over 49.5 receiving yards”).

  • Contracts settle in-the-money if the specified condition is met.

  • Contracts settle out-of-the-money if the condition is not met.

  • If a player is declared inactive or out before the start of the event, contracts are settled as Event Canceled.
