Where do I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)?

What is a TIN?

A Tax Identification Number (TIN) is a unique number issued by your country's tax authority to identify you as a taxpayer. As part of our onboarding and regulatory obligations, OG.com may ask you to provide your TIN to verify your identity and meet tax-reporting requirements.

Every country calls its TIN something different, and the number can appear on different documents depending on where you are tax resident. Use the guide below to find the right number for your country.

Good to know

  1. Enter your TIN exactly as it appears on your official document

  2. Your TIN must match the country you selected as your tax residence.

  3. You may hold more than one TIN if you are tax resident in multiple countries.

General places to look

If you're not sure where your TIN is, it can usually be found on one of the following:

  1. Official correspondence or notices from your national tax authority

  2. Your tax return or tax assessment documents

  3. Your national ID card, passport, or residence permit (in many countries the TIN is the same as, or printed on, your ID)

  4. Payslips or your employer's tax records

  5. Your online account/portal on your national tax authority's website
