Crypto-to-Cash Deposits Powered by Mesh: Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

What is the new Crypto-to-Cash deposit feature?

We have integrated with Mesh to let you seamlessly fund your OG.com account by connecting your external crypto wallets and exchanges. This significantly reduces the friction of funding your account by eliminating the need to manually verify networks and copy long alphanumeric addresses.

How do I make a deposit?

You have two easy ways to deposit crypto. You can link your external account (such as Coinbase, MetaMask, or Phantom) for a persistent, fast-pass connection, or you can opt for a manual deposit by scanning a standard QR code.

Do I need to hold USDC to make a deposit?

No. If your external wallet holds different assets like ETH or BTC, Mesh's SmartFunding feature will automatically convert those assets to USDC during the transaction. Once the deposit reaches us, we instantly convert the USDC to cash (USD) so your purchasing power is unlocked right away.

Fees and Timelines

Are there any deposit fees?

OG.com does not charge any additional fees for this service. You only pay the standard network fees set by your external exchange or wallet.

How long does a deposit take?

The integration is built for speed, with typical settlement times taking a few seconds to under 20 minutes depending on the network. You can monitor the status of your Mesh deposits directly in your Transaction History.

Security and Eligibility

Are my connections and funds secure?

Absolutely. Mesh ensures a safe, encrypted connection to your external wallets. Furthermore, the architecture is entirely non-custodial, meaning Mesh never actually holds your funds at any point during the direct transfer to OG.com.

Who is eligible to use this deposit method?

This feature is currently available for our US customers. However, please note that New York customers are excluded and not eligible at this time. Standard OG.com onboarding, KYC verification, and Terms & Conditions acceptance are required before you can access the Mesh modal.
